The
term prayer plant refers to a large
family of plants whose leaves fold
up when new. Calathea amabilis/ Stromanthe
amabilis has large oval shaped leaves
with dark green markings on a lighter
green background on the top of the
leaf, and purple undersides underneath.
The plant will occassionally flower
with small white flowers. This plant
is easy to care for and makes an attractive
houseplant. |
